Virtual neurology clinic Neura Health has received $11.4 million in Series A funding, bringing its total raise to $22 million.
The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Venture Fund led the round, which marked the fund’s first-ever investment.
Koch Disruptive Technologies, Pear VC, Norwest Venture Partners, Esplanade Ventures, E12 Ventures and Correlation Ventures also participated in the round.
WHAT IT DOES
The company offers a virtual clinic that connects patients with neurologists and neuroneurological sub-specialities to address various conditions, such as headaches and migraines, sleep disturbances, seizures, concussion, chronic pain, traumatic brain injury, stroke recovery, tremor, dementia, long COVID, memory issues, undiagnosed neurological symptoms and other conditions.
The company's offerings also include an AI-enabled workflows platform, an app with symptom tracking, personalized education and coaching, and care navigation.
The New York-based company will use the funds to expand nationally.
"Neura’s Series A will help the company advance its mission of making high-quality neurological care accessible to all, accelerating growth with payers and health systems, expanding into new condition areas and continuing to deliver compassionate, expert support at every step of the patient journey," Elizabeth Burstein, CEO and cofounder of Neura Health.
